About Us

Mission ::
The mission of Ascension is to ignite a passion within the local church, to encourage the local church to be Christ’s presence in a hurting and dying world and to be a catalyst for growth in the kingdom of God.

History ::
Ascension was birthed in 2006 with the same desire that has become our mission today; to be a resource to the local church. What began as experiential worship environments in a culture that was learning to communicate inside and outside the church walls has grown to a larger expression of the same and now bridges a gap between denominations and generations. We are a recognized charitable corporation with the state of Florida and are awaiting the status of our 501(c)3.

The past few years have helped define Ascension as we focused our years around specific themes. In 2007 we ended our year around the theme “Love God, Love People” and how if we’re doing one, then the other is going to take place as well. In 2008 we spent the year focusing on “Unify” and how as Christians we share a common bond and are working towards a common goal. 2009 challenged us greatly as we centered our year on the theme “Give Yourself Away”. And now as we embark on the 2010 campaign, we’re focusing on “Awake”.
